What can I encode in a QR code?

Any text: website URLs, Wi-Fi passwords, contact cards (vCard), plain text, phone numbers, and email addresses. The shorter the content, the cleaner the pattern.

SVG or PNG — which should I use?

SVG scales to any size without quality loss — best for print and digital use. PNG 2× exports at 1024 px square, ideal for slides or documents that don't support SVG.

What does error correction level mean?

QR codes can recover from partial damage. Low (7%) gives the smallest, cleanest pattern. High (30%) adds redundancy so the code still scans even if part of it is obscured or dirty — useful for printed materials that may wear.

Is my data private?

Yes. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your URLs and text are never sent to any server.
